Hungarian Tunes in Kosovo
Szöveg: SFC Richárd German | 2018. március 11. 13:07Formed of the soldiers of the 17th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (KFOR-17 HUNCON), the three-man band Hungarian Defence Noises has so far staged three concerts in the area of operations.
The band was formed during the pre-deployment training with the aim of entertaining Hungarian troops in the mission area, and National Contingent Commander Lt.-Col. István Varga approved the initiative. The band became popular among the members of the contingent already at the first concert.
DCOM KFOR Brig.-Gen. János Csombók was also present at the second appearance. Although the three-man band mostly played Hungarian pop-rock hits, the concert drew a considerable foreign audience too.
