KFOR HUNCON Medal Parade in Kosovo

At the last weekend of February, a medal parade was held in the 17th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (KFOR-17 HUNCON) serving at Camp Novo Selo, Kosovo. The recipients of the NATO medals were those soldiers who completed a +30-day service in the Balkans theatre for the first time.

Baptism in the Mission Area

The peacekeepers serving with the 17th rotation of the Hungarian Defence Forces KFOR Contingent (KFOR-17 HUNCON) recently gathered for a ceremony inside the Saint Christopher Chapel of Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny – generally known as Camp Novo Selo – in Kosovo. At the service, two soldiers requested the holy sacrament of baptism.

Change of Command in Camp Novo Selo

The handover-takeover of the camp commander’s responsibilities has recently taken place in Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Novo Selo, Kosovo. Lt.-Col. László Szalontai, Senior Officer at the HDF Joint Force Command Logistic Operations Directorate was succeeded by Lt.-Col. Károly Szép, Commander, Logistic Battalion, HDF 59th Dezső Szentgyörgyi Air Base.
