Preparing for an International Evaluation

It depends on the execution of the tasks during the evaluation process whether the infantry battle group (IBG) drawn from the 39th Infantry Battalion of the HDF 5th “Bocskai István” Infantry Brigade will be assessed as “combat ready”.

Pit Bull – Soldiers at the Limits of Performance

Bridge on River Tisza

The Czech–Hungarian joint river crossing training exercise “Duna-2012” has ended successfully. The exercise took place between September 10 and 13 on the two banks of River Tisza at Szentes, and the soldiers of the two nations showed their excellent cooperative skills during the task execution.

Gunners in the Sky and on the Ground

The soldiers of the HDF 25/88 Airmobile Battalion (Szolnok) conducted a live fire exercise on the shooting range of the Hungarian Defence Forces at Táborfalva. The ground-based live fire tactical training and the helicopter gunnery that took place on Monday, September 10 were part of the week-plus long multinational tactical helicopter exercise “Logical Decision 2012”.
